Sorry, My Photography is not for Stock Use
Considering that I am currently unemployed, I have had a fairly busy time on the photography front this year. Last year ended with a flurry of shoots, and it has continued into the New Year with a variety of shoots and styles that have seen my portfolio expand at quite a rate.
I have worked with some favourite models, some many times one for the first time in a couple of years, and one for the first time, all of the shoots have had a freshness about them that has given me an impetus to go out try out more new ideas, and to think more about what direction to take my photography.
I will still concentrate on working with models, as this is the type of work I get the most from, and it is also an area of photography where you are virtually in control of everything, although the weather can have an impact on what direction a shoot will take. I do hope to work with two models together again this year, and if I can organise it I would like to work with three models together on a single shoot, but the logistics of a three model shoot might just be stretching my bank balance and organisational skills a bit too much.
The sessions have ranged from several home shoots, one of which was a body painting collaboration and one at the models home which was at the top of a long climb up several flights of stairs, to a couple of studio shoots one of which did get quite messy and the other gave me a chance to try out some variations on my usual lighting schemes. There have also been a few shoots that were outside, one of which was in open woodland in early spring sunshine.
I would like to thank Artemis Fauna, Fire's Secret, Ivory Flame, S_Olivia and Summer30 for helping me to produce some excellent images.
